Working Princible

The classifier is composed of an upper cylinder, a wind screen body, a lower cylinder, a classifying rotor, and an exhaust pipe. Depending on the feeding method, the material enters the classifier through a side inclined tube next to the upper cylinder from the feeder. The material falls freely and, at the screening body, coarse particles fall along the cylinder wall, while fine powder rises to the classification wheel. Under the action of centrifugal force, some coarse particles fall back to the screening body for further dispersion and classification. Qualified fine particles are discharged from the exhaust pipe, while coarse particles are discharged from the lower cylinder outlet.

The classifier has a wide classification range, high classification accuracy, high classification efficiency, compact structure, and is convenient for operation, maintenance, and cleaning. The classification particle size is easy to adjust, occupies a small footprint, and is easy to install. It can be used in a closed circuit with mechanical pulverizers or air jet mills to increase effective production capacity. Closed circuit operation allows for the pulverization of heat-sensitive, low-melting point materials in mechanical pulverizers.
