Performance & Characteristics
The fluidized bed jet milling machine, combining principles of crushing, grading, mixing, and homogenization, realizes the unique benefits of inline operation. Therefore, it possesses the following characteristics:
(1) Utilizing a Laval nozzle with a specific convergence angle, it achieves high impact speeds. Particles, after being accelerated by the gas flow, collide at speeds that are the sum of their respective velocities, leading to high efficiency in crushing.
(2) Low energy consumption; compared to other types of jet mills, it can save 30-40% on energy. (3) Since the primary crushing effect results from particle-to-particle impacts within the fluidized bed, high-speed particles rarely collide with the mill walls and materials do not pass through the nozzles, minimizing wear. It can even crush materials with a Mohs hardness up to 9.5.
(4) Equipped with large-diameter vertical grouped rotors, the machine offers high classification precision, resulting in a narrow range of product particle sizes. Particle size adjustment is extremely convenient and independent of feed particle size.
(5) It has a broad application range and is capable of crushing heat-sensitive materials.
(6) The equipment operates stably with low noise, its level significantly lower than the permissible value (<85dB).
(7) Its compact structure reduces floor space requirements by 3-6 times and volume by 6-10 times compared to traditional jet mills.
(8) The classification chamber can be rotated 180 degrees, and the milling chamber has a quick-opening door, facilitating easy cleaning and convenient switching between different materials.
