A shredder is a machine that is used as a fine shredder, generally for processing unprocessed raw materials or trimmings to a finer size. A representative example is the shredding of plastic or rubber trimmings as a raw material to be melted and granulated to be used to recreate plastic bottles, tyres or waste bins, and so on. The shredder is used in the plastic recycling and regeneration industry, commonly used in the crushing of scrap large calibre PE plastic pipes, bundles of baled plastic film, large stacks of plastic sheets and machine head material.
