Product Description

Laboratory Disk Mill

Working Princible

The high-speed jet generated after the pressurized gas passes through the feeding ejector nozzle forms a negative pressure in the feeding mixing chamber, which enables the pulverized raw materials to be automatically sucked into the mixing chamber and then sprayed by the jet into the pulverizing chamber. There are several nozzles around the pulverizing chamber that eject supersonic jets into the pulverizing chamber, causing the particles entering the pulverizing chamber to collide violently and be pulverized by self-grinding. Coarse particles are circulated back to the pulverizing chamber to continue being pulverized, while fine particles are discharged from the central discharge port, thus obtaining uniform ultrafine particles.

Performance & Characteristics
  1. It is suitable for dry ultrafine processes. Due to the high impact speed, which can reach more than Mach 2, it is generally easy to obtain particles with a size of 1 - 10 micrometers.
  2. Compared with the fluidized bed jet mill, its controllability of the pulverization fineness is somewhat poorer. However, it has a very good pulverization effect on materials with viscosity, and there will be no phenomenon of material blockage that prevents pulverization during the pulverization process.
  3. There is no temperature rise. During the pulverization process, due to the compressed gas nozzles, the temperature drops, and there is no mechanical friction process. Therefore, the pulverization process will not cause a temperature increase, making it suitable for the pulverization of heat-sensitive and low-melting-point materials.
  4. This equipment has the advantages of short pulverization time, simple structure, no moving parts in operation, convenient operation and maintenance, small floor area, low noise, and no vibration.
  5. It has high pulverization efficiency, can conduct continuous pulverization, and can ensure the purity of pulverized products.
